Cuando el destinatario resida dentro del distrito de distribución de la oficina postal donde se reciba el correo, los paquetes que aparenten contener mercancía gravable quedarán bajo la custodia de la aduana o del correo, para su examen, según lo determinen por mutuo acuerdo los Ministerios de Hacienda y Crédito Público y de Correos y Telégrafos.
