Es obligatorio el uso del uniforme para los Oficiales de guerra, e individuos de tropa del Ejército en todos los actos del servicio, dentro de los cuarteles y oficinas militares, y para la asistencia a los actos sociales de carácter oficial. El traje civil podrá usarse por los militar es en casos especiales y en horas fuera, de servicio, previa autorización especial del Jefe superior respectivo.
