Los condenados a la pena de reclusión, antes de que éntre a regir el presente Código, o los que antes de esa misma vigencia hubieren cometido hechos delictuosos a quienes corresponda la pena de reclusión de acuerdo con el Código vigente, cumplirán en uno y otro caso esta pena, salvo el caso en que tal pena se convierta en presidio por petición del condenado.
