Pago personal al beneficiario. El pago personal de la prestación al beneficiario consiste en el pago directo que realicen los operadores públicos y privados del Sistema General de Pensiones en las dependencias administrativas o instituciones financieras establecidas para el efecto. En estos casos, al realizar el pago deberá verificarse adecuadamente por la entidad que realice el pago, la identidad del beneficiario, a través de medios probatorios idóneos que acrediten tal circunstancia. Los pagos personales podrán también realizarse al apoderado especial del beneficiario, en cuyo caso se requerirá, el poder especial otorgado en debida forma. (Decreto 2751 de 2002, artículo 2°)
