- COMPETENCIA SOBRE NULIDAD ELECTORAL. Los Tribunales Administrativos conocerán en primer instancia de las demandas de nulidad sobre la elección de Alcaldes y el Consejo de Estado en segunda instancia. Son causales de nulidad la falta de calidades para ejercer el cargo, la violación del régimen de inhabilidades, las establecidas en el Código Contencioso Administrativo, Código Electoral, Ley 96 de 1985 y las previstas en esta Ley (Ley 78 de 1986, art. 29).
