ARTICULO 3.1.2.0.4 .- REGISTRO DE REASEGURADORES Y CORREDORES DE REASEGURO DEL EXTERIOR. La Superintendencia Bancaria organizará un registro de los reaseguradores y corredores de reaseguros del exterior que actúen o pretendan actuar en el mercado colombiano. Dicho registro tiene como propósito permitir que se evalúe su solvencia, experiencia y profesionalismo, entre otros factores. Para el efecto, señalará las condiciones de inscripción y los casos en los cuales constituye práctica insegura contratar con reaseguradores o con la mediación de corredores de reaseguro no inscritos o excluidos del registro. La inscripción en el registro puede ser negada, suspendida o cancelada por la Superintendencia Bancaria, cuando el reasegurador o corredor de reaseguro del exterior no cumpla o deje de satisfacer los requisitos de carácter general establecidos por dicho organismo.
