VIGILANCIA Y CONTROL EPIDEMIOLOGICO EN AREAS PORTUARIAS. El Ministerio de Salud o su entidad delegada serán las autoridades competentes para ejecutar acciones de vigilancia epidemiológica y de control de saneamiento de áreas portuarias, naves y vehículos. Todas las entidades que participen en el tráfico internacional y en actividades de las áreas portuarias, deberán dar respaldo y prestar su apoyo al Ministerio de Salud o su entidad delegada para el cumplimiento de las disposiciones del presente estatuto y sus reglamentaciones.
