ARTICULO DUODECIMO. Los caudales a que se refiere el artículo anterior, y todos aquellos que no estén expresamente destinados por el causante a un fin o inversión determinado, se invertirán en los siguientes valores; bienes raices, acciones bancarias, préstamos con garantia hipotecaria y bonos Nacionales, Departamentales o Municipales, De estas inversiones deberá darse cuenta inmediata al Departamento de Asistencia Social; y -cuando se trate de adquisición de bienes raices o de préstamos con garantia hipotecaria- se tendrá en cuenta el avalúo catastral de la finca y un avalúo previo de ella, aprobado por el mencionado Departamento.
