El que haga desaparecer posea o retenga cédula de ciudadanía ajena o cualquier otro documento necesario para el ejercicio del derecho de sufragio, incurrirá en prisión de cuatro (4) a ocho (8) años, salvo que la conducta constituya delito sancionado con pena mayor, y multa de cincuenta (50) a doscientos (200) salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes.
