º El Cuerpo de Policía creado por el Decreto número 1,000 de 5 de Noviembre de 1891, dependerá única y exclusivamente del Ministerio de Gobierno y de él recibirá órdenes e instrucciones. Sin embargo, el Gobierno podrá delegar estas funciones, cuando lo crea conveniente, al Gobernador de Cundinamarca o al Alcalde de la ciudad de Bogotá. Si no han sido delegadas a ninguna de las autoridades mencionadas, éstas, para pedir comisiones dentro o fuera de la ciudad, lo harán solicitando previamente la orden del Ministerio de Gobierno.
