En homenaje a la memoria del egregio colombiano, el Gobierno Nacional adquirir la casa en que nació el doctor Jesús María Yepes Herrera, realizara en ella las reparaciones que tiendan a su buena conservación, y la destinara una escuela que llevara el nombre del internacionalista antioqueño.
