Créase la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Magdalena y de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Corpamag, como un establecimiento público del orden nacional adscrito al Departamento Nacional de Planeación dotado de personería jurídica, patrimonio propio y autonomía administrativa, para el cumplimiento de las funciones señaladas en la presente Ley.
