El Instituto de Investigación e Información Geocientífica, Minero - Ambiental y Nuclear, Ingeominas, tendrá como domicilio la ciudad de Santa Fe de Bogotá, D.C., pero podrá establecer en el territorio nacional, las dependencias operativas y administrativas que sean necesarias para el logro de sus objetivos y el cumplimiento de sus funciones.
