Muerte Al Animal

El que, maltrate a un animal doméstico, amansado, silvestre vertebrado o exótico vertebrado causándole la muerte, incurrirá en pena de prisión de treinta y dos (32) a cincuenta y seis (56) meses, inhabilidad especial de dos (2) a cinco (5) años para el ejercicio de profesión, oficio o comercio que tenga relación con los animales, prohibición de adquisición, tenencia, cuidado y refugio de animales y multa de treinta (30) a sesenta (60) salarios mínimos mensuales legales vigentes.

Parágrafo

Se exceptúa la muerte del animal doméstico con fines de consumo evitando el sufrimiento innecesario.
