Cuando entre dos o más Departamentos, o entre uno de éstos y una Intendencia o Comisaría, ocurrieren diferencias respecto de sus líneas divisorias, los respectivo^ Gobernadores, Intendentes o Comisarios ocurrirán al Poder Ejecutivo, por conducto del Ministerio de Gobierno, haciendo una exposición de los hechos motivo de la duda que haya en los límites y acompañando los documentos y demás pruebas en que crean fundar derecho al reclamo de la zona disputada, o a la fijación de la línea divisoria por determinados puntos.
