La Unidad fundamental de las armas a pie tendrá como Comandante a un Capitán y por Oficiales subalternos un Teniente y dos Subtenientes. La de las armas montadas tendrá un Capitán como Comandante, un Teniente y tres Subtenientes. El número de Suboficiales y soldados lo determinara el Gobierno, de acuerdo con el Reglamento de Dotaciones.
