Art 8.º Si la línea que se trace en virtud de las nuevas esploraciones fue re adoptada para la construccion del ferrocarril, el Poder Ejecutivo solicitará autorización del Congreso para adjudicar a los injenieros que se ocupen en ellas los siguientes lotes de tierras baldías a inmediaciones de la línea del ferrocarril: al injeniero en jefe un lote de dos mil hectarias, i a cada uno de los injenieros auxiliares un lote de quinientas hectarias.
