Art. 3º. Por cada mina de piedras preciosas cuya extensión no exceda de la señalada en el artículo 2º de la Ley 38 de 1887, se pagarán cinco pesos ($5) anuales.

Las minas de esta clase que tengan mayor extensión pagarán cinco pesos ($5) por cada kilómetro cuadrado y en proporción por la extensión excedente.
