Art. 16. La resolución de un poder general surte sus efectos, respeto de tercera persona, siempre que se compruebe que tuvo conocimiento oportuno de aquella,

Si el periódico oficial de un departamento se avisa al público la revocación de un poder general, los efectos de esta se surta, respeto de los vecinos del mismo departamento después de treinta días de hecha la publicación. Siesta se hiciere en periodo oficial de la nación, los efectos de la revocación se surten en toda en toda ella tres meses después de verificada la publicación.
