Además de los documentos, títulos y diligencias que enumera el artículo 5 del Decreto-ley 2908 de 1960, causan impuesto de timbre nacional los recibos de pago que expidan las autoridades municipales, por concepto de impuesto municipal a vehículos automotores de servicio particular, conforme a la tarifa que se establece en el artículo siguiente.
