°. Garantía de contingencias pasivas . El Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras asumirá las contingencias pasivas, entendiendo como tales las relacionadas con condenas derivadas de procesos y pasivos ocultos que hayan surgido por hechos anteriores a la fecha de venta, de conformidad con las condiciones, plazo y límites que establezca su Junta Directiva.
