La organización de programas sociales de las Cajas, a través del subsidio en especie y en servicios, tiene por objeto restablecer o aliviar el desequilibrio económico familiar que producen hechos tales como el embarazo, el nacimiento, la desnutrición, la crianza y educación de los hijos, los problemas de adolescencia, el matrimonio, la enfermedad, la invalidez, la muerte, la orfandad, el abandono y demás causas de desprotección.
