ARTICULO 153 . DIA DEL GUARDIAN. La conmemoración del Día del Guardián será ocasión especial para estimular el espíritu profesional, abnegación y esfuerzos de los miembros del Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia Penitenciaria y Carcelaria Nacional. Ese día la guardia podrá ser relevada en su servicio por el Ejército Nacional o la Policía Nacional, de acuerdo con la coordinación que realicen los Directores Regionales y de los establecimientos de reclusión con los comandantes de la respectiva fuerza en la guarnición correspondiente y se celebrará el 29 de junio de cada año.
