De la demanda para que se decrete la reducción de una hipoteca o de una pena, en los casos previstos por la ley civil, se da traslado al demandado por el término de tres días.

Contestada o no la demanda, el juicio se abre a prueba por seis días, vencidos los cuales, el Juez falla dentro de los cinco siguientes.
