Plan de Protección. Los buques, las instalaciones portuarias y en general aquellos que se encuentren obligados a cumplir con lo enmarcado en el Código PBIP, presentarán ante la autoridad designada para su aprobación el Plan de Protección, que contenga las medidas y procedimientos de seguridad física para cada uno de los tres (3) niveles de protección marítima, siguiendo para ello las prescripciones del Código PBIP, y la regulación Nacional que en materia de Protección Marítima expida la autoridad designada.

Parágrafo

El Plan de Protección estará desarrollado bajo la guía de elaboración del documento establecida por la Autoridad designada, utilizando el formato correspondiente.
