Adiciónase el artículo 2.1.3.3.3. del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero con el siguiente

Parágrafo

En caso de que el almacén general de depósito opte por pagar el valor por el cual las mercancías se encuentren registradas en su contabilidad, puede hacer el pago por consignación, depositándolo en un banco legalmente autorizado para recibir depósitos judiciales, que funcione en el lugar donde debe hacerse el pago, con obligación de dar aviso al beneficiario".
