Los guardacostas construídos por la Casa Yarrow & C.°, de Glasgow, destinados al Pacífico, ya en servicio uno, y el otro armándose, se distinguirán con los números 3 y 4, respectivamente, y el construído por la Casa Edwards & C.°, de Londres, que está para botarse al agua en el puerto de Buenaventura, se llamará "Cauca."
