El personal que compone el Cuerpo Técnico de Policía Judicial, es de libre nombramiento y remoción y podrá ser trasladado para la prestación del servicio a juicio del Director Nacional cuando las necesidades del mismo lo requieran. El personal de la Policía Nacional, el Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, DAS, y la Dirección General de Aduanas y demás organismos adscritos a esta función, se regirán para este efecto por sus propios reglamentos institucionales.
