Las entidades territoriales podrán destinar hasta un 50% de los recursos provenientes de las multas y sanciones por infracciones de tránsito para la ejecución de acciones y medidas que permitan realizar labores de control operativo y regulación de tránsito en los territorios, con el propósito de verificar el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad vial.
