Los vehículos, las partes o los repuestos que se importen, ensamblen o fabriquen destinados al servicio de transporte terrestre automotor de carga, deberán satisfacer las condiciones mecánicas, de comodidad y seguridad que señale el Código Nacional de Tránsito Terrestre, además de los requisitos especiales indicados para cada caso por los reglamentos que expida el Instituto Nacional del Transporte.
