Artículo doce . Ascenso por título . El educador escalafonado que acredite un título docente o un título profesional universitario, distinto al que le sirvió para el ingreso al escalafón, adquiere el derecho de ascenso al grado que le corresponde en virtud del título. Se exceptúa el ascenso al grado 14 para el cual deben reunirse los demás requisitos establecidos en el Artículo 10 del Decreto 2277 de 1.979. Los educadores asimilados sin título docente tiene también derecho a ascenso al grado que le corresponda en virtud del título que adquieran.
