ART 176. Los que falsificaren los billetes del Banco Nacional, los que los introdujeren á la República y los que los expendieren ó circularen en el territorio de ésta, á sabiendas de que son falsos ó falsificados y los que, con igual conocimiento, contribuyeren á la falsificación, introducción, expendio ó circulación de tales billetes, serán castigados con las penas prescritas en el artículo 157 contra los que falsificaren, introdujeren, expendieren ó circularen monedas de oro ó plata, ó de otro metal igual ó más precioso que la plata, emitidas en Colombia, en sus respectivos casos y en igualdad de circunstancias.
