Sujeción al régimen económico de los organismos cooperativos, El Fodesep se sujetará en lo relativo a la constitución de su patrimonio, a la regulación de los elementos patrimoniales, al cierre del ejercicio económico y a la aplicación de los excedentes, a lo establecido por la Ley 79 de 1988, en su Capítulo V, Título I. Como elemento patrimonial adicional del Fodesep y en cuenta diferente a la de aportes sociales, registrará los aportes que el Gobierno Nacional le destine anualmente en el Presupuesto Nacional.
