La autoridad ambiental competente podrá solicitar al titular del Permiso Individual de Recolección, ajustar el número total de muestras, frecuencia de muestreo, sitios de muestreo, entre otros aspectos, de manera sustentada, por considerar que la recolección puedo afectar las especies o los ecosistemas en razón de la sobre-colecta, impactos en lugares críticos para la reproducción, afectación de ciclos biológicos, dieta, entre otras.
