El que en el ejercicio del comercio engañe al comprador entregándole una cosa por otra, o una cosa de origen, calidad o cantidad diversa de la declarada o convenida, incurre en el arresto de diez días a un año y en multa de diez a quinientos pesos. Si el engaño se refiere a obras de arte, objetos preciosos o de especial valor histórico, se impone la prisión hasta por dos años y multa hasta por dos mil pesos.
