Al artículo 62 de la Ley 141 de 1994 se le adiciona el siguiente parágrafo:

"Parágrafo. Para los efectos de la presente ley, se entenderá además por promoción de la minería, la que se hace a través de las transferencias de recursos provenientes de regalías, destinadas preferentemente a los proyectos de integración de títulos de pequeña minería, dadas sus condiciones sociales, económicas y ambientales, con el objeto de hacer de dichos proyectos, una minería sostenible".
