El contratista podrá principiar los trabajos de explotación en cualquier época del periodo de exploración, de acuerdo con el artículo 18, dando aviso al Gobierno, aviso al cual acompañará los planos, cartas geológicas y memoria descriptiva referentes al área que desee poner en explotación.

El Gobierno podrá exigir que los planos, cartas geológicas y memoria descriptiva de que se trata, se completen debidamente en el caso de deficiencia en los presentados.
