Para efectos de lo dispuesto en el

Parágrafo transitorio

del artículo 16 de la Ley 716 de 2001, los matriculados en el registro mercantil deberán informar el Número de Identificación Tributaria, NIT, al momento de renovar su respectiva matricula mercantil. Los matriculados que no tuvieren NIT deberán obtener su Número de Identificación Tributaria, NIT, ante la Administración Tributaria que corresponda e informarlo a las cámaras de comercio al momento de renovar su matrícula mercantil o dentro de los dos días calendario siguientes a su obtención.
