Cada penado tendrá derecho al cincuenta por ciento de los productores de su trabajo en la hectárea que se le señale en el núcleo central de la Colonia. Estas sumas se colocarán en depósitos en la Caja de Ahorros que debe funcionar en la Colonia, y los valores respectivos se entregarán al penado cuando adquiera la libertad provisional, con el objeto único de que sean destinados a edificaciones y mejoras en el lote que les sea asignado.
