Administración y uso de la información. El Ministerio de Educación Nacional utilizará la información reportada por las entidades territoriales para la toma de decisiones del sector educativo y en especial para la distribución de los recursos de la participación para educación del Sistema General de Participaciones.

El Ministerio de Educación Nacional será el responsable de mantener la información actualizada con base en la remitida por las entidades territoriales y de reportarla al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público y al Departamento Nacional de Planeación.
