El Gobierno por conducto de sus representantes en la Junta Directiva del Banco Popular, propondrá, de acuerdo con los estatutos del Banco, el aumento del capital en cuarenta millones de pesos ($40.000.000), mediante la emisión de cuatro millones ($4.000.000) de acciones privilegiados, de valor nacional de diez pesos ($10) cada una.
