Los Oficiales que se retiren conforme a esta ley tendrán derecho, además del sueldo de retiro, a que el Tesoro Público les pague, por una sola vez, una recompensa igual a medio mes del sueldo correspondiente a su grado por cada año de servicio o fracción mayor de seis (6) meses que exceda de los quince (15) años.
