La base para fijar esta contribución será la siguiente: los teatros, salones, circos, hipódromos, construcciones destinadas a espectáculos públicos cuyo cupo sea de quinientas personas o de un número inferior a este, pagaran cinco pesos mensuales; aquellos cuya capacidad este entre quinientas a mil, diez pesos por mes, y por un número superior a mil, el impuesto será de veinte pesos por mes.

Se exceptúan los teatros de propiedad oficial siempre que sean administrados directamente.
