Denominación y funciones . A partir de la vigencia del presente Decreto, el Instituto Zooprofiláctico Colombiano se transformará en una empresa industrial y comercial del Estado con personería jurídica, autonomía administrativa y capital independiente, dedicada exclusivamente a la elaboración de productos biológicos, químicos y farmacéuticos para uso veterinario, que se denominará Empresa Colombiana de Productos Veterinarios.
