ARTICULO 13 . La visa oficial permanente la expedirá la Dirección General de Protocolo de acuerdo con la duración de la Misión, hasta por un término de un (1) año, y será renovable por períodos iguales previa solicitud de la respectiva Misión Diplomática, en su defecto por la Misión Consular y del Organismo Internacional respectivo. Una vez terminada la misión permanente, el titular de la visa oficial podrá permanecer en el país amparado por la misma hasta por cuatro (4) meses.
