Objeto . El presente capítulo tiene por objeto reglamentar el procedimiento general para el reconocimiento y pago del Pasivo Prestacional del Sector Salud causado a diciembre 31 de 1993 por concepto de cesantías netas y reservas requeridas para el pago de pensiones legalmente reconocidas de las instituciones de salud públicas o privadas, en cuya financiación deban contribuir en virtud de la Ley 715 de 2001, la Nación a través del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público y los entes territoriales cuando a ello hubiere lugar. (Artículo 1° Decreto 306 de 2004).
