ART 164. Si por negligencia ó descuido de los que tengan á su cargo y custodia los cuños nacionales de las monedas, se abusare de ellos para acuñar las falsas, el descuidado ó negligente será castigado con la pena de reclusión por dos á seis años, y declarado inhábil por ocho años para obtener empleo ó cargo público.
