Artículo diez y ocho. Los Registradores deben dejar copia de los certificados que expidan, cualquiera que sea la clase de éstos. Los certificados y sus copias deberán numerarse en serie continua para cada año, sellarse y llevar la firma del Registrador. Esta disposición se aplica también a los complementos o ampliaciones de certificados.
