ARTICULO 123 . La muerte del acusado extingue la acción disciplinaria, así como la sanción que no se hubiese hecho efectiva. La acción prescribe en cinco (5) años, contados desde el día en que se cometió el último acto constitutivo de la falta. Este plazo se interrumpirá con la notificación del pliego de cargos. La sanción prescribirá en igual término, contado a partir del día siguiente al de la ejecutoria de la providencia que la imponga.
