Vencido el término de un (1) año señalado en el artículo 7º de la Ley 61 de 1987, para efectuar tanto las reclasificaciones como las inscripciones a que hubiere lugar, el régimen para el ingreso, inscripción, permanencia, ascenso y retiro de la Carrera Diplomática y Consular, será exclusivamente el consagrado en el Decreto-ley 2016 de 1968, Estatuto Orgánico del Servicio Diplomático y Consular y en las disposiciones que lo modifiquen o adicionen.
